Can you walk the route using public transport?

It's possible to walk the Peak Way by using public transport. This is especially useful if you live in or near Stockport, Derbyshire or Sheffield and don't want to book accommodation. If you're from further afield it may help you plan your accommodation. So, for example, you could choose to stay in the same accommodation in the Hope Valley for a few days, knowing that you can reach your start and finish locations by public transport.

The table below shows information which you can use to plan your walk from Stockport. However, it's only a guide and you should check bus/rail timetables as these can, and do change.

Please note that this page is best viewed on a computer screen rather than a mobile.

From Sheffield or Derbyshire

If you live in Sheffield or Derbyshire, it should also be possible to use public transport, if you wish, but you will need to check the timetables accordingly.
